Connected Parenting:
A Support & Skills Group for Parents of Teens
Connected Parenting is a virtual support & skills group for parents of teens in Texas navigating the real challenges of adolescence—emotional ups and downs, boundary-setting, communication struggles, and the impact of technology.
Led by a licensed therapist, this group blends practical tools and education with meaningful connection so you can parent with more clarity, confidence, and calm.
Who Connected Parenting is for
This group is designed for parents and caregivers of teens who are looking for grounded support and a judgement-free space to connect. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure what to do next. You may be trying your best, but still finding yourself in conflict, shutdowns, or self-doubt.
This group is for you, if:
• You’re navigating frequent conflict, shutdowns, or emotional overwhelm in your parent-teen dynamic
• You’ve read the books and tried the advice, but still feel unsure what actually works
• You want a space that balances support with real skills—not judgment, and not just venting
• You’re craving connection with other parents who are in it too—and who aren’t pretending it’s easy
• You’re open to learning new ways of relating, even if it means unlearning some old ones

What We’ll Cover
Parenting teens can bring up big emotions—yours and theirs. This group offers both support and strategy. Each session we’ll cover real-life topics grounded in what today’s teens (and their parents) are facing, including:
• Responding instead of reacting when emotions run high
• Setting boundaries that stick—without losing connection
• Navigating tech, social media, and screens without constant battles
• Understanding the teenage brain and why they do what they do
• Building emotional safety, trust, and communication—especially in hard moments
You’ll walk away with tools you can actually use at home, a better understanding of your teen, and connection with other parents who get it.
Connected Parenting is Led By:
Connected Parenting is led by Beth Bowen, LMSW, RYT200, a licensed therapist, parent, and founder of Everwell Therapy Collective. Beth has over a decade of experience in the mental health field and specializes in working with teens and families across therapeutic settings—including emergency room social work, school-based counseling, individual therapy, and group facilitation.
She brings a calm, affirming, and no-nonsense approach to parenting support, grounded in her belief that growth happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. She also happens to be a parent herself, so she gets that theory only goes so far when your kid is slamming the door.
Beth’s areas of expertise include:
• Adolescent self-harm and suicidal ideation
• Parent-teen conflict and communication breakdowns
• LGBTQIA+ affirming care and identity development
• Emotional regulation and executive functioning challenges
• Neurodivergent adolescents and building affirming supports
• Trauma-informed parenting support
• Anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and school-related stress in teens
